She gave her life to Christ in the mid-1960s at Revelation Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, fully surrendering to the Lord in her 30s. Since then, her walk with God has been nothing short of extraordinary. Called to the great gospel, she has faithfully served the body of Christ in nearly every capacity—from singing and teaching to evangelizing throughout Brooklyn and Staten Island.
A powerful prophetic voice and fervent intercessor, Mother Murphy has carried the mantle of prayer with deep conviction. Her love for the Word and unwavering devotion to prayer have birthed breakthrough and healing for countless souls. In 1980, she founded Bethel Apostolic Assembly on Staten Island, where she poured into her community both spiritually and through social service efforts.
A mother of seven children (six daughters and one son), she carried the joys and sorrows of motherhood with strength and grace, even after the loss of her daughter in 1972. Despite going blind in February 2008—while reading the Word of God from the pulpit—her spiritual vision has only grown sharper, and her passion for God more intense.
Now a beloved member of Kingdom International Ministries Inc, under the leadership of Apostles Christopher and Lakeisha Colander, Overseer Mother Fannie Murphy continues to walk in her divine assignment as a prayer warrior, encourager, and mother to many in the faith.
Her life is a legacy of perseverance, purpose, and prophetic power—a living epistle of God’s grace and glory.
